HACEP Kenya Visit to St. Camillus Hospital

HACEP Kenya visited St. Camillus Hospital, delivering essential medical equipment and training healthcare providers on the HACEP Kenya Data Management System to improve data management and reporting. The visit also focused on newborn screening for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD), equipping staff with skills for early detection and care, ultimately improving patient outcomes. This initiative is expected to enhance early diagnosis and intervention for SCD, ultimately reducing related morbidity and mortality while strengthening overall healthcare delivery.

HACEP Kenya and Migori County Government launched newborn SCD screening services

Migori county Department of Health in collaboration with the partner Health Advancement and community empowerment program (HACEP) Kenya today officially launched its Services in the county with the aim of improving health outcomes, particularly through newborn screening for Sickle Cell Disease (SCD).
